“Grass” was taken at a bowling green in Broomfield Park, Palmers Green, London. At approx. 6.30am a grounds man mowed the grass of the bowling green and produced an almost perfect surface.
This small tuft of grass clippings was all that was left. There is a sense of a striving for perfection and the imperfection that is the inevitable result.
