About

The Withdrawing room is both an online and physical space designed to host projects curated/initiated by Liv Pennington that run parallel to her artist practice.

For the 21st and 22nd of September, from 12:00 to 17:00, the Withdrawing room has come out of hibernation to show Bodies of….  and participate in the brilliant  OpenArtFolke initiative

The Withdrawing room as a physical project space is the large front reception room in Liv’s family home, Harbourside, sometimes seeping further through the house and garden. The house once a guesthouse, sits on Folkestone’s East Cliff with direct sea views, overlooking the evolving Harbour Arm.

To see Liv’s previous online project please see nepartism.com and to view past exhibitions at Harbourside see  Check in/ Check Out. If you would like to visit the permanent collection, please get in touch to arrange a time.
